Neither Robert Epps nor William T Morgan are on the ASA's Caution List, even though one way that these men used to seek nudist/naturist children was by running ads in Bare In Mind, a national nudist magazine. They ran ads that solicited young female models. 
      One law enforcement officer, who specializes in child pornography, said: "It was real obvious what was going on. Anybody who cared about kids would have to be stupid to run the ads that were published by Bare In Mind ." 
      In 1984, nudist William T. Morgan was arrested. During a police search of his Oxnard, California residence, commercial child pornography magazines were confiscated. He was also prosecuted for taking lewd pictures of a fourteen year old nudist girl. With only six months before retirement, he was thrown out of the Navy and received five years probation. 
      Currently his probation revocation hearings are pending as a result of continuing nude child photography activities by Morgan. If his probation is revoked, he could be sentenced up to one year in jail. 
      The pending prosecution against Morgan is for taking nude photographs of a girl, now 17, whom he's been photographing since she was 12. According to law enforcement, the photos were full body photos as well as close-ups of her genitalia. In some photos, Morgan had the victim push up her breasts. 
      For years, Morgan maintained a sponsorship with the American Sunbathing Association (A.S.A. now American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), and worked in collaboration with Robert (Bob) Epps of Tustin, California, (also an A.S.A. sponsor) in order to make contact with nudist children. 
      In 1989, when a search warrant was executed against Epps, police confiscated about ten videotapes of hard-core child pornography, which law enforcement believes were furnished by David Sonenschein. 
      Correspondence regarding the videos was also confiscated. The unsigned letters were written in Sonenschein's handwriting. According to law enforcement, in Epps' house there was a newsletter entitled GL (Girl Love) which appeared to be produced by Sonenschein as well. [Sonenschein is a pedophile and the publisher of a pamphlet entitled "How to Have Sex with Kids." He will be discussed in a future issue of the ICONoclast.] Epps was not prosecuted because of a heart condition.

      From the information we have been able to gather, we believe that Bare In Mind has still not changed their policy regarding publication of similar ads that facilitate the availability of children for pedophiles. William Morgan became a fugitive and was at large the last we heard.
